The use of computers in this modern era can already be said as a primary need, especially for a student or office worker. Computers in both Desktop and Laptop PCs are always needed to help get things done and tasks done. When using a computer, all data and work will be stored on a hard drive, where no one can guarantee that the hard drive will last a long time and can continue to be used. Another problem is if for example your Laptop is lost or stolen by someone else, then of course the data and all the work done using the Laptop will be lost.
In anticipation of such problems, it is highly recommended to back up the data in order to have backup data when the data on your Laptop can no longer be used. There are several ways you can do data backups or work done on a Laptop. The first way in which you can copy important data to other storage media, such as External Hard drive or on Flashdisk. Another way you can go is to back up to online storage such as Google Drive.
In both ways, backing up your data to Google Drive is the most recommended. The reason of course is because when you back up data to an external hard drive or flash drive, then there is still a high probability that the External Hard drive is damaged or lost. While if you use online storage such as Google Drive, then the chances are very small. So, your data or work can be said to be safer and can last for a long time. In addition, if you store it on online storage, then you can access and use it from any device when needed.
However, the problem is that it will be very troublesome when you have to always backup data manually. Conditions that require you to upload data to Google Drive every time you have made changes or there is new data will certainly take some time. Therefore, all you need is to sync Google Drive with your Laptop. This step is done so that your Laptop can automatically back up to Google Drive.
